Balance your home with color

Neutral colors:
Black & White

Black and white are both the most current colors, they are the colors of fashion. Both symbolize mourning, each for different civilizations. Actually, almost each color symbolizes mourning for some culture: red for South Africans, blue for Iranians, purple for women in Thailand, yellow for Egyptians, white for Chinese and Japanese, black for Europeans and Americans. But black and white are both very elegant and, you could choose black to give your interiors a feel of opulence and strength. White is purity, kindness, peace and loyalty.

Balance Colors

But you must know how to coordinate them.

To give depth to a room- Black is the perfect color to decorate a room, especially a small one, but in the right dosage. A single wall in this color along with the other walls in white creates an ideal contrast that will make the room appear larger. Ideal for a working area cause it creates a relaxed atmosphere. White is light- Enhances the feeling of spaciousness and brightness, and is a synthesis of all colors that’s why it coordinates so well with every other color.

How to color your house

When starting to decorate a room it is very important to choose the right color, and sometimes that’s the most difficult choice.
7- Tips that effectively help us choose the right color:

1. Select a single special item in your house that is going to serve as the focus point.

2. Select a special piece of artwork that you cherish the most, and study the color scheme it presents in order to find the color that suits you.

3. Purchase sample paint strips or a color wheel in order to find out what fantastic color combine with you the most.

4. Consider what kind of paint to use, latex paint or oil paint; satin paint or semi-gloss paint and so on. It is also important to know that by nature latex is a non-toxic type of paint.

5. It is very important to consider what room you’re going to paint, on the wall of your bedroom you should use a satin finish because allows light to bounce around the room in a pleasant way.

6. Baseboards should be painted neutrally with semi-gloss finish, adding a polish to the room.

7. And finally, ceilings should always be painted in white, regardless of what fun interior wall paint color ideas you employ elsewhere in the room.
